Google review 5/20/2026My indoor unit started making this loud humming noise that was driving me crazy here in Kemah. Spears AC squeezed me in the next day. Tech found the blower motor bearings were going bad, lubed what he could and replaced the bad parts without needing a full motor swap. Noise is completely gone and it’s blowing strong again. Honest guy who didn’t try to sell me a bigger job than necessary. Fair price and quick work — exactly what I needed.

Spears AC came out, diagnosed a bad ignitor, and swapped it while they were there. Works perfect now. The guy took time to explain what was wrong and didn’t try to upsell me on anything else. Reasonable price and they showed up when they said they would. Nice to have someone reliable for both the AC and heat.

The tech showed up right when he said he would, went through the whole system, cleaned the coils, checked the levels, and made a couple small adjustments. Nothing major was wrong but it’s nice knowing everything’s in good shape before it gets really hot. He explained what he found in normal terms, didn’t try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn’t need, and left the place clean. AC’s blowing cold now and I feel better about it running all summer. Friendly, on-time, and honest — that’s all I really want. Will definitely use them again.

It was making this awful grinding sound and the house was getting warm fast. I’m over in Dickinson so I gave Spears AC a call and they had a guy out the same afternoon. He checked it out, told me the motor was shot, and luckily had the right one on the truck. Swapped it quick, tested everything, and now it’s running smooth and quiet again. Price was fair, no upselling or anything. He even mentioned they do a lot of work in Alvin too if I ever need them over there. Solid experience — these guys know what they’re doing.
