Yelp review 7/15/2016Can't say I do many reviews but needed to do this one. AC died on a Friday night, panicked, looked around, came across Spears AC and Heating...good reviews. After spending the night in a house without AC, I needed action, not promises. Long story short, called and spoke with Steve Spears. He came out in no time. Very nice, personable, easy spoken gentleman. Went to the source and jumped right in. Explained what wasn't working and what needed fixing. He got the AC working, explained bill, didn't talk to me like I was stupid (but I was ignorant). Was left with good understanding of what work had been done. (And the bill was reasonable, too!) Any AC problem in the summer is scary and inconvenient, esp. on a weekend. If you want comfort in Texas, AC is a must have. So finding a company that is not trying to fleece the consumer in a time of panic is rare. I highly recommend Spears AC and Heating. I don't think you can find any better in the field or this area.
Yelp review 7/2/2016Picked this provider after my usual A/C service company was overbooked on the July 4th weekend based on the few but excellent reviews. Needed an emergency visit after finding my outside A/C unit was not starting. Called Spears, he called right back and over the phone agreed it was probably the startup capacitor - the fact that he was thinking "repair call" and not "sales opportunity" had me knowing I picked well from the start. He had to troubleshoot the unit not getting power - and it turned out to be a power relay with a insect that had gotten fried - so literally a bug in the system! $70 for the visit was well worth it - and his phone was ringing so he was on to the next call. While I have no issues with my "normal" company, I feel like Mr. Spears is a good choice for a A/C service. Many thanks to him for the great work!

Google review 11/9/2015I came home to find that the upstairs unit wasn't running at all. It was close to 8:00 pm and my toddler was beyond ready for bed. Unfortunately, in the midst of summer, it was over 80 degrees upstairs and in no condition for sleeping. I called and Steve was at my house within 30 minutes and has the unit running in no time. To top it off, he only charged me for a regular trip since it was only a broken fuse. He did a great job and was honest!

Google review 6/23/2015Awesome experience! I screwed something up while installing a digital thermostat which left me without AC in the middle of the night. I called Spears and he attempted to coach me through the problem over the phone. After no success, he came out to my house and resolved the problem within minutes. He was extremely responsive and helpful.
