Had problems with my heater and Nest thermostat again. The first time I had another company come out and they said that the heater tripped a breaker and just needed to be reset. If it happened again just reset the breakers. Well, a few weeks later my hater and Nest are acting up again. Called and explained the situation and had someone come within the hour. Diagnosed the problem as a bad breaker fuse. Luckily he had one in his van and swapped them out. Def. recommend Spears. They didn't try to up sell me or anything, just straight to the point.

I came home to a burning smell in my house this morning and a weird noise in my attic and determined it was my heater. I called Spears and spoke with Steve (owner). He literally had someone out to my house within 30 minutes. My heater (motor) had gone out and they had to hunt one down. It took them a while to find it and even came back to my house at 7:30 on a Friday night to make sure we had heat. I need new systems and am definitely going to use Spears when we can afford to put them in. I can't thank you enough Steve and team.

My a/c finally bit the dust Wednesday night after 2 years of bandaides. I called Spears ac Thursday morning and Steve, the owner, arrived within 45 minutes of the call. Steve was very knowledgeable and explained everything to where you could understand. Steve quoted me a fair price on a new condenser and coils and within the next hour he had crew of people installing the new unit. Steve's crew worked fast and had the a/c going within a few hours. The most impressive thing was that his crew cleaned up their mess, including sweeping my stairs. Steve was able to work with me in reference to making payments, which you know is very helpful when you are making a major unexpected purchase. I would recommend Spears for any a/c repair or new installation.

When you are in dire need of AC service, or repair, call SPEARS AC & HEATING. They will get the job done nomatter what time of the day or night that it is. The owner Steve, will personally go out of his way to take your calls at any hour of the night. He gives you his legitimate price quote right over the phone so you know what your dealing with. He will have one of his crew members out to your house within minutes usually and they will not leave until the job is completely done. He is always prompt in his service and he will try to help you out nomatter what the situation may be. I manage tons of properties in the Greater League City/ Clear Lake area, and anytime my tenants are without AC or have a problem, I never have to have a meltdown, I just pick up the phone and call and the problem is solved immediately! They are they best at what they do and great prices too!

We have found an honest company here! Spears was a referral from my sister in Pearland, and I am so grateful for the referral. After using 3 AC companies to diagnose and fix my ac leak and problem...I never got the issue resolved. I had people charging my to check and refill Freon, but no resolution. One call to Spears and the next day I had an answer and price, very reasonable if I may add, to replace the part that was leaking. We own a few rental properties (commercial and residential) and I wouldn't call anyone other than these guys to work on the units anymore. Great attitude and work ethic. Honest and affordable. Definitely recommend to family and friends!

After hours call on a Friday night. We were installing a Nest thermostat and kept getting an error. Nest tech support told us it was an HVAC issue. Checked out yelp and gave these guys a call. 1) they answered the phone at 9:15 at night. 2) they gave an estimate over the phone so we had an idea up front what it would cost 3) kept us updated by text on eta status as the technician was at another job and would come to our home after that Chris got there and was extremely polite and friendly even though he pretty much had been in hot attics all day. He explained everything he was doing and found a serious issue that the builder had neglected! Very, very happy with these guys. Sadly, it's hard to find customer service like this. Thanks so much for being there and being a decent, honest company!

I had this company install an AC thirteen years ago. It was the best price that I could find then, and I have no regrets. The only problem was that Spears made it clear that the company would not do maintenance. The installer showed me how to maintain my unit, and I did what I could. I could have paid for full service, but that came at a price that I could not afford at that time. I am so grateful to Spears.

We had Spears AC install a new 4-ton cooling system a couple of years ago. The system required a "Hard-Start" kit that they added at no charge. Recently the system quit cooling and Steve Spears came out (quickly) and replaced the start capacitor and got it up and running again. I originally had Steve come out months back to help install two soft starters on my AC units to help power my generator and he did excellent and very fair and honest pricing. Left a really good impression considering many in the industry would just overcharge you. 2nd time around lower house wasn't cooling well and had their company come out to pin point diagnose the issue and provide options.
