Our a/c quit working early morning on the 4th of July, needless to say it was hot! A friend recommended this guy to me so I called him and found out he doesn't run service calls were I live but said he could try to talk me thru troubleshooting the problem over the phone. He gave me some things to check and I called him several times, he answered each time and patiently walked thru different items to check until we found the problem and got the a/c running again. Doing something like this for a total stranger on a holiday is going above and beyond and is rare these days. When that dreadful day comes that this a/c kicks the bucket for good, I'm calling Spears to install the new system!!!

It's with a heavy heart that I'm adding this. On a Thursday I hired Spears to do a maintenance check on my AC. I said let me know when you can come, thinking he was coming the same day. Well after he didn't say anything about coming that day I just waited. The next day he sends me a text saying he will come in the afternoon and text me an hour before he comes. I said "OK" Well guess what? He never came and never sent me a text saying he couldn't make it. He was never like this. But to me it's disrespectful to not show or even send a text or phone call telling me he's not coming. So sadly I will no longer use him. There really is no excuse for doing this to a repeat customer.

I'm VERY!!!!! sorry for your bad experience.. It is indeed 100% my fault.. please understand that you had called me at a time when I was doing EVERYTHING my self.. I was answering my constantly ringing phone and doing my best to schedule calls while trying to do the job of fixing people's AC.. unfortunately the same thing happened to other customers as well in the summer of 2018.. this is why in September of 2018 I hired a secretary to answer my business line and schedule the calls. everything runs more smoothly now.. if you haven't already found another AC guy please give Spears AC another chance.. THANK YOU

Would highly recommend Spears AC. Very knowledgeable, great work and the best price you'll find. They found the problem with our AC, went out and got the part that day and got it up and running asap. They are also very easy to get in touch with and very friendly. Glad we found them. Want to add something - our AC went out on a day where it was over 90 degrees and it was after 6pm. We called Steve intending to set up a time early the next morning where they could come take a look and instead he came out and fixed it that night. I'm fairly certain he was already home at that point but he came out to fix it anyways (and he fixed it quick!). We really appreciated his time and can't say enough about his company. If we could rate Spears higher than 5 stars we would.

This is a Company that you need to call. Honest hard working. Explain everything. Called out for the heater now our air conditioner. They don't over charge. Tells you ways you can check. Can't say enough wonderful things about this company. You want hard working honesty call SPEAR 832-420-2665 Thanks for reminding us there are Honest repair people.

Spears has always provided excellent service at a fair rate. This last time, he sent a technician to a location outside of his normal service area for me, same day, and fixed the problem immediately. I highly recommend using Spears AC and Heating exclusively!

Highly recommend Spears AC. Had my home AC go out late on a Tuesday and Steve offered to come out himself since his guys were already tied up with other customers. Since it wasn't that critical I just asked if someone could come out in the morning (but the fact he offered was greatly appreciated). Moses called me first thing at 8:00 am the following morning and said he was on his way. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and got my AC fixed within 15 minutes (fortunately was just a blown capacitor) and the price for the work was more than reasonable. It's rare nowadays to find a company that prides itself on quality workmanship, customer service, and isn't just out to make a quick buck. But Sears AC is such a company and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

I cannot recommend these guy enough. They do a fantastic job. Both times when I've had to call them for separate issues, they've walked me through their troubleshooting process and helped me understand the problem, and agree on an appropriate fix. Steve Spears' business is the kind of business I'm happy to support and continue using.

We had some minor issues with our AC unit which was less than 3 years old. The company, Big Tex AC, who originally installed the unit tried to gouge us by replacing our entire furnace over a small crack in the drip pan. Luckily, Spears saved the day with a second opinion and solution to our problem. Spears saved us over $1500!!! These guys are honest, hard working, and truly professional!!

I had this company install an AC thirteen years ago. It was the best price that I could find then, and I have no regrets. The only problem was that Spears made it clear that the company would not do maintenance. The installer showed me how to maintain my unit, and I did what I could. I could have paid for full service, but that came at a price that I could not afford at that time. I am so grateful to Spears.

We had Spears AC install a new 4-ton cooling system a couple of years ago. The system required a "Hard-Start" kit that they added at no charge. Recently the system quit cooling and Steve Spears came out (quickly) and replaced the start capacitor and got it up and running again. I originally had Steve come out months back to help install two soft starters on my AC units to help power my generator and he did excellent and very fair and honest pricing.
