We had our entire AC and heating system replaced last Monday at our home in Friendswood, and I’m so glad we went with Spears AC and Heating. A full replacement is a big decision, but they answered our questions and made us feel comfortable with the whole process. The crew was professional, respectful of our home, and cleaned up when they finished. The house feels great, and it’s such a relief to have the new system installed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We just had Spears AC install a full new AC and heating system at our place here in Clear Lake Shores, and honestly I can't recommend them enough. From the first visit to the final walkthrough, everything was handled professionally. They showed up on time, explained exactly what we needed and why, and didn't try to upsell us on stuff we didn't need. The install itself was clean — no mess left behind, and they walked us through the new thermostat before they left. The difference in our house has been night and day. Temps are even in every room now, no more hot upstairs/cold downstairs, and it's noticeably quieter than our old unit. Our energy bill already looks like it's going to drop too. I’ve used Spears Air Conditioning for years and on more than one property, so they’ve become the company I call whenever I have an AC issue. They’ve handled repairs for me in the past, and today they came out to one of my rental houses and replaced two complete systems. Everything went smoothly, they showed up when they said they would, got both systems taken care of, and didn’t leave a mess behind. After using the same company multiple times over the years, you get a pretty good idea of how they operate. Spears has always been dependable with me, and I’ve never felt like they were trying to turn every service call into something bigger than it needed to be. Having two systems replaced in one day is a pretty big job, and I was very happy with how everything turned out. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but Spears Air Conditioning deserves one. Our AC at our League city house quit cooling and the first company we called basically told us the system was shot and we needed to start thinking about replacing the whole thing. It’s an older unit, so at first we figured they were probably right, but before spending that kind of money we wanted somebody else to look at it. A friend told us to call Spears, so we did. Steve came out, checked everything himself, and found out the situation was nowhere near as bad as we had been told. He found the actual issue, fixed what needed to be fixed, and had cold air blowing again that same day. That alone earned my respect. He could’ve easily gone along with the “you need a new system” story and made a much bigger sale, but he didn’t. He was straight with us, explained what was going on, and saved us thousands. We know the unit isn’t going to last forever, and when it finally does need to be replaced, I already know who I’m calling. Seriously, if you’re around League city and need someone for AC work, call Spears Air Conditioning. Steve knows what he’s doing, doesn’t try to scare you into buying stuff you don’t need, and actually treats people right. 10/10 experience.

They were quick, professional, honest, and actually seemed like they cared about getting our house comfortable again. The installation went smoothly and they made sure everything was cooling properly before they left. Our house has been staying much cooler and the new unit is running great. I highly recommend Spears Air Conditioning in League City. Our AC system was installed about 12 years ago by one of the better-known HVAC companies in the League City area. When it stopped cooling over the weekend, we naturally called the company that originally installed it. After looking at the system, they told us the compressor was bad and the entire AC system needed to be replaced. Before spending that kind of money, I decided to get a second opinion. A neighbor recommended Spears Air Conditioning, so I gave them a call. Steve came out just a few hours later and actually took the time to diagnose the problem. It turned out that we didn't need a new compressor or a new AC system at all. Steve replaced a wire going to the compressor and installed a hard-start kit. The total repair was only $250, and our house was cooling again that same day. It's hard to find this kind of honesty and service anymore. Steve could have easily told us we needed a new system, but instead he fixed what was actually wrong and saved us thousands of dollars. Our system is getting older, so we know we'll eventually need to replace it. When that time comes, Spears Air Conditioning will be the company we call. Steve came out, thoroughly inspected everything, and noticed several important things that the other companies had completely overlooked. What impressed us most was the value. Spears Air Conditioning installed a 16 SEER Trane HVAC system for about the same price other companies were quoting us for a 14 SEER system. The installation went smoothly, and the installers were professional, friendly, and respectful of our home. The quality of the work was excellent, and we couldn’t be happier with our new system.
