Google review 3/1/2026Spears AC & Heating serviced my AC unit about a week ago, and I couldn’t be more impressed. They are fast, efficient, friendly, and highly responsive by both phone and text. Their pricing is competitive, and their customer service truly stands out. I called on a Monday, and my call was answered before the second ring. The technician arrived right on time, and I received text message updates with his estimated arrival, which I really appreciated. He was knowledgeable, professional, and completed the job quickly—within about 30 minutes. There was a small billing error, and I was accidentally overcharged (I would have never known I was overcharged had they not informed me). However, Spears AC & Heating caught the mistake themselves within an hour or two after the technician left. They proactively reached out via text to inform me of the overcharge and offered several refund options. I chose to receive the refund via Zelle, which they sent to me within a day or two. That level of integrity is rare. I highly recommend Spears AC & Heating and will absolutely be using them for all of my future AC needs
Google review 8/14/2025Steve was amazing! We reached out to him around 7 PM on a Thursday night for a rental property issue, and by 8 PM, the unit ac was up and running! Incredible response time. The tenant was thrilled they didn’t have to go a night without AC. Super professional, fast, and the prices are totally reasonable. We’ll definitely be using his company again in the future!

Him and his team were prompt in coming by to fix my commercial unit. He kept open communication and was upfront about what actually needed to be fixed.
Google review 7/6/2025Found these guys on Google. It’s Sunday at 6:30 in the evening and my ac wasn’t blowing cold. They were here within 20 minutes and fixed my problem within another 20 minutes. Really grateful they were able to come out that quick. I would highly recommend.
Google review 6/13/2025I had this company install an AC thirteen years ago. It was the best price that I could find then, and I have no regrets. The only problem was that Spears made it clear that the company would not do maintenance. The installer showed me how to maintain my unit, and I did what I could. I could have paid for full service, but that came at a price that I could not afford at that time. I am so grateful to Spears.
thank you so much for being a longtime loyal customer i really appreciate it. Every now and then we will do an install too far out of our service area, in these cases we do make it clear that it’s a one time deal where we can’t come back to service the equipment. maybe you fell into this category. We’ve always done the maintenance on both systems we installed and on systems that we didn’t install. What your probably referring to is up until recently we’ve never offered a “Maintenance Agreement” which is a prepaid annual contract where a company automatically schedules seasonal maintenance checks, gives discounts on service and sometimes priority service over other customers. we now offer Maintenance Agreements
Google review 6/4/2025We had Spears AC install a new 4-ton cooling system a couple of years ago. The system required a "Hard-Start" kit that they added at no charge. Recently the system quit cooling and Steve Spears came out (quickly) and replaced the start capacitor and got it up and running again. Due to a recent storm with a power interruption, the system quit cooling again. Moses (a service tech) came out promptly and completely trouble shot the system, replaced the "Hard-Start" capacitor and got it up and running again. Both Steve and Moses are amazing techs! Moses let me follow him through the entire process. Not only is he highly qualified, but he is also great at explaining the system (an a very nice guy). I highly recommend Spears AC. They are a locally owned company and a great asset to our community.
Google review 5/17/2025I originally had Steve come out months back to help install two soft starters on my AC units to help power my generator and he did excellent and very fair and honest pricing. Left a really good impression considering many in the industry would just overcharge you. 2nd time around lower house wasn't cooling well and had their company come out to pin point diagnose the issue and provide options. Many HVAC companies won't take the time and do whats right for the customer and instead will provide vague responses and fear tactics to charge you more especially if your desperate for a fix and Spears is nothing close to that. A great company with great people who provide exceptional service with honest pricing. No reason to look elsewhere and my go to hvac company. Thank you, Spears. Thank you Steve originally for running a solid business and Betty in back office for her professionalism and Moses for his harwork and focused efforts with our home. Thank you.
